Experience
Project Aus has been around since 2004, and in that time have been through probably every thing most clans go through, about two or three times. We know how to handle things and we know what works and what doesn’t.
Atmosphere
After years of watching the atmosphere of Project Aus grow and change, the revival was focused around recapturing the atmosphere we loved most; the early days. We found that what we loved most were the days before it was all just numbers and statistics, where it really was just about having fun with friends.
You aren’t just another number
The problem most clans, including the old Project Aus, face is that new clan members aren’t really treated on a personal scale. They just become another number. In our revival we don’t want that to happen, in trying to uphold the atmosphere we love so much. There isn’t really any hierarchy to be concerned about, and you are always welcome to voice your opinions. Project Aus is based on user initiative, not on hierarchy.
No politics
As a result of the three previous points, you aren’t going see the clan in constant bickering and bitching. Most of us are too lazy to get into that sort of stuff anymore, and we much prefer just to be out there playing the game. The clan is based on user initiative and not on hierarchy; if you want to do something different, do it. Don’t complain; take the initiative and improve the clan. To quote an old admin, “we’re here for a good time, not a long time”. We want to play the games and have fun, not worry about ridiculous politics. If you do have a genuine problem that can’t be fixed on your own, come chat to us on vent; have a game or two and tell the rest of the clan whats on your mind and we’ll try and sort it out together!
