Yes you read right - Call of Duty 6 in 2009 by the better studio - namely - Infinity Ward. Also it is roumoured there maybe a kind of sci-fi twist to the COD franchise like Crysis? Only time will tell.

Activision Blizzard had an "analysts day" conference call today. Plenty of stuff to get through from it, but first things first: confirming earlier "leapfrog" assumptions, it's been announced that the next Call of Duty game will be brought to us by Infinity Ward in 2009. Good news for those who still, for some reason, think it's funny to hate on Treyarch, but for everyone else, it probably only confirms what you probably already assumed. Sadly no mention of any sci-fi take on the series, but there's plenty of time - and trade shows - for that particular mystery to be resolved.

one good game then a shit one come on they should have realized by now but meh still a good game

COD5 will be shit, COD6 will most likely follow suit. Too much shit coming out at one time, when all they need to do is listen to what people have to say, and devolop a well thought out game that will actually be good.

Its whatever tickles your fancy, COD 5 will be based in WW2 again with the Japanese theater (I think) And Well COD 6 Will have INF Ward on it again thus making it another game to follow for the COD series. Hell b4 COD 4 came out I was like man thats gonna be so bogus etc now look who hauls ass during games . I <3 COD 4.

Yeah, Kingsy, (youre still Kingsy to me) I dont know why there was a new team brought in to make a COD WWII game, when the team they already had made the best WWII/FPS ever. COD2 FOREVER!

Yeh, as much as Cod4 is fun, cod2 will always be the best of the series. Not graphics focused; sure, we all love some killer graphics, but ill take awesome gameplay anyday. Thats the reason Battlefield 2 is still being played widely, its the reason we all still love age of empires and its the reason why Doom 1 will be played for years to come.

no doubt this is true, but cod2 was not focused on graphics. Sure, you expect them to put some reasonable work into the graphics, but it wasnt so goddamn focused on. I think the developers need to realize that this is A GAME, and NOT A MOVIE. if i wanted to watch Metal Gear Solid the Movie, i would pay 10 bucks for a ticket at village cinemas. i WOULDNT pay 120 dollars to buy a cinematics disc

Yeah, dont take that last comment the wrong way, cod2 was a game that was made to be a game, not a eye-candy shop. If games nowadays where made like they used to be, well, lets just say cod4 would be about ten times as popular as it is now.
