Throwing this idea to bounce off you other wowfags in a place people [hopefully] pay attention - the guild needs to expand to actually do well, and in order to do that you have to advertise. I know it's all well and good to say 'WE ONLY WANT GOOD PLAYERS' but that isn't the way it works unless you're very well established a la Fade/CURE/gill's mum. A less enjoyable but more effective solution is to get lots of unknown players then filter them out after a week's trial or something.
And yes, I'm willing to refrain from calling them a thundercunting mingebag pennypincher whorechild in order for this to happen, and Eparterces will too.

it's not like we're short of people in the guild, i always keep an eye out for people in trade channels looking for guilds and invite those that are 50+ regardless of class

Long time reader first time writer, I think its a really good idea that we get more into the PAus wow guild.
Striken we are so short on players its not funny for a guild to be able to run 25mans without a hickup we need about 30 players Purely dedicated to doing raids, more ontop of that would be great

Disagree here. The last guild I was in was mostly casual+friends and we had easily 20 people plus online on weekdays, let alone weekends. But considering noone's voted NO, that means I'm going to bounce another idea off:
THE MACRO
I'm going to start spamming a macro every half an hour or so that goes along the lines of
