I have a terrible problam with cod4. When I get into cod4 multiplayer and click on 'join game' the whole game just shuts down. This problem is very recent.

I have never heard of this problem before. I assume you have tryed restarting?? What about re-installing? Turn down graphics settings and resolution maybe?

Well, I have jsut been going on a zombie mod server recently and it has been downloading maps and stuff. could this be related?

It is not the graphics or anything, how could it be?

Do you know where I can get extra help?

do you use X-Fire?

Yes I do. I think i will be able to join games via x-fire.

with a modded server sometimes it crashes try playing with out it

Well, teh game shut down when i clicked on the join game button at teh top of the main menu. I was in the normal cod4 menu. I'll take a look at teh web link.
