Guild Fun!
So as I have been appointed Div. Leader of World of Warcraft, I would love to open up to everyone a thread for you to post, "what would like to see in the guild"...
Epesically focused on fun stuff, like Premade battlegrounds! and raids on towns, mini duel comps, Lower level instance runs for newer players ect...

a good idea is a lottery; basically, every so often you start a lottery (perhaps once a week). Everyone puts in 2G and then the winner of the lottery gets like 3/4 of the total put in (the other 1/4 put into guild bank). This way it adds guild activity, makes money for the guild and for any lucky members.
The actual lottery part is easy; just use a random number generator on the net or something (make it a number between 1-100 to make it fair, and just pick closest guess).
All this would take is someone to be appointed lottery manager (most likely guild leader IMO) and all you have to do is put it in the guild message to send mail to you with the money and a number between 1-100. Keep a list on a piece of paper and then send the 3/4 of the money to the winner, then guild bank the other 1/4.
Its pretty good way of making money.
well i think doing like once a week meetings and do like little guild events to like the occasional duel comp and for the lvl 40s and above have horse races and some more stuff that mite come to mind later

considering there is no speed differences except for hunters and those with carrot on a stick and riding crop, isnt a race a little pointless

The only way I can see a race being run is like, Starting from a said location, riding/running to a location, killing stuff til something drops that normally drops off that mob and then continueing to the next location, repeat 4 or so time and the first 1 back with all 4-5 or so items and trade them to the referree wins... but other then that, with close finishes and with lag as it is, on one person's PC may show you infront of the other person, but on another, it could be the other way around...
Unless the race was huge as in from Booty bay to SM by mount only... that would be interesting

Like the Lottery idea tho... great idea for fun... will def. Look at setting it up.

We could always have a mass guild arena competition in which last man standing wins. You are eliminated once you get to 2min or 5min which ever one it is till you u can release. I did it in one of my whole guilds it was awesum.
what about grubshi arena or what ever its called its open pvp there so last man standing in there

Not really, all u said that i didn't say was the location not much of an expansion. But hey continue on with the idea's enough of this arguing
